How to distinguish between UTP and STP

TP is the most commonly used transmission medium in integrated wiring engineering. Compared with other transmission media, TP are limited in terms of transmission distance, channel width, and data transmission speed, but the price is relatively low.

At present, TP can be divided into UTP and STP.

UTP is made up of multiple TP and a plastic sheath.

The outer layer of the STP is wrapped with aluminum foil to reduce radiation. It is more difficult to install than UTP cable, but the transmission rate is higher, up to 155Mbps within 100 meters.
